Reversal of Sterilization
The sterilization reversal procedure in women is known as tubal ligation reversal, or tubal reanastomosis, or tubal rejoining. Using microsurgical techniques, the surgeon removes a small amount of scar tissue from the site of the prior sterilization surgery and then rejoins the fallopian tubes.
The decision to proceed with this method should be made by the couple following evaluation and recommendation by a doctor.
